Section 9
The arbitrator must take an oath
  (1) Before commencing the work of arbitration, the arbitrator shall sign two copies of written oath of fairness and honesty as mentioned in the schedule and one copy of such oath shall be kept with a copy and the other copy shall be sent to the High Court.
(2) Before any arbitrator takes the oath in accordance with sub-section (1), if there is any reason to doubt his impartiality or independence in relation to the dispute to be settled by him, he shall bring it to the notice of the parties concerned.
